| SportMartialArts.com started as MASLinc.com in October of 2000 as a method
to share information. It is still known as MASLinc.com to our old skool viewers.
The site started with merely 190 visitors a day and quickly grew today's statistics of
over 6000 per
day. The website is the central source of
news,
photos,
videos
and other information about open sport martial arts tournaments. |
| How does the Site get all the information? |
SportMartialArts.com is run mainly by two hardworking webmasters who do all
of the programming, write a lot of articles, edit and create the videos and photo galleries
and just about everything else. There are also some new national level
reporters who travel to certain events for coverage. We also have a number of local reporters who write
articles about events in their area. If you are interested in becoming a local reporter,
click here. Through the support
of many of the top promoters in the sport, SportMartialArts.com has been able to attend
many national, international, regional and local events where we gather news, interview people, take photos
and videotape competition. With that information, we write the
reviews, post
results, and post
photo galleries and
video from events. We
also receive information from local volunteer reporters, supporters and promoters about
events that have taken place and the results or news from those events.
Along with covering sport martial arts tournaments, the SportMartialArts.com
webmasters also work to bring viewers many unique interactive features for entertainment
and informational purposes. And, in 2005, SportMartialArts.com created the
Offline Magazine - an
actual paper magazine that covers the sport with articles on tournaments, general interest articles,
