Bryan Young, Team Proper, Los Angeles, CA
(competes in point sparring on the NBL circuit and promotes the Autumn Slam tournament)

“Try and keep a routine that allows you to be calm and focus on the upcoming competition. For me I always wake up early the morning of a tournament when I’m out of town and go have breakfast by myself. By doing this, it gives me some time to just think about everything that I want to do later that day, and focus on what I need to do to get the W. Also since breakfast is the most important meal of the day you have to make sure you put some good food in your body if you want to compete at a high level.”
